Wenzhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital was founded in 1923. The predecessor of the hospital was the medical charity “Jian Guanfu, Chen Ziming, Tao Luchen, etc. Office of General Medical and Drug Administration.
After nearly a hundred years of development, the hospital is now a national third-class Class A TCM hospital, a national “civilized unit”, a provincial “Ping An Hospital”, and a “green hospital”. In 2004, the hospital became the teaching hospital of Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Wenzhou Medical College and Jiangxi College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, in 2008 it became the affiliated hospital of Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and in 2015 it became the affiliated hospital of Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Liuhongqiao Campus
The Liuhongqiao campus is located at No. 9 Jiaowei Road, Liuhongqiao, and is divided into Phase I and Phase II projects, with a total of 946 beds. The first phase covers an area of 23 mu and a construction area of 64,800 square meters. It was officially opened in April 2015. The second phase covers an area of 17.26 mu and a construction area of 30,300 square meters, which was put into use at the end of October 2017. The service area of the hospital extends to the west. It has advanced diagnosis and treatment equipment, comprehensive clinical services of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine. It insists on the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine and the development direction of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine.
